Club Car Wash has opened a new site in Ashland, Missouri, tying the grand opening to a charity promotion and giveaways for early arrivals. According to reporting from Professional Carwashing & Detailing, the store at 15075 Eastside Dr. launched with a $1 wash special and prizes for its first customers.
The opening continues the Missouri-based chain's push to expand near its home base. Company president Collin Bartels said the location lets the brand grow in an area close to home, and he pointed to a local partnership as part of the launch.
The grand opening offer
For a limited time, Club Car Wash is selling its MVP Wash, normally valued at $26, for $1, with all profits from the promotion donated to Helping Hands of Southern Boone, a nonprofit that supports local individuals and families. The company said it partners with a local nonprofit during the $1 wash special at each of its grand openings.
Early visitors received added incentives. The first 250 customers got scratch-off tickets for a chance to win a $3,500 vacation gift card bundle, and the first 200 received free coffee cards for The Hive.
The chain also promotes an ongoing charitable tie-in through its partnership with Children's Miracle Network. Every Tuesday, customers can buy an MVP Wash for $14, with $1 from each wash donated to a local CMN hospital.
Membership and amenities
Club Car Wash offers four membership tiers alongside single washes, each of which includes complimentary vacuums, towels and air compressor tools. Members gain access to an Express Member Lane for a contactless wash experience and unlimited washes across all locations.
The company also runs perks through its mobile app, including monthly giveaways and rewards. All members can join the Platinum Rewards Program, earning points through app engagement that can be applied as discounts against their monthly membership charges.
Why it matters for operators
Club Car Wash's Ashland launch is a template many operators use to build early membership momentum. Pairing a deeply discounted wash with a local charity donation generates traffic and goodwill at the same time, and it gives new customers a low-risk reason to try the tunnel and sample the membership value.
The giveaway structure is worth noting: capping prizes at the first 200 to 250 visitors creates urgency without an open-ended cost. Operators planning a grand opening can model similar tiered incentives to drive an early rush while keeping promotional spend predictable.
The recurring charity tie-ins, both at openings and through the weekly Children's Miracle Network promotion, also show how a chain can turn giving into a repeatable marketing rhythm rather than a one-time event. For independents competing against expanding regional players, the takeaway is that community partnerships and a clear membership onboarding path remain effective tools for converting first-time washers into recurring members.
