Kleen-Rite has set the dates for its 2026 Learn More, Earn More Expo, a free car wash training event scheduled for November 11, 2026, in Columbia, Pennsylvania. According to reporting from Professional Carwashing & Detailing, the expo will feature more than 60 vendor exhibits, breakout educational seminars, equipment displays and networking opportunities, along with a catered barbecue lunch and end-of-day door prize drawings.

Registration is open for both days of programming, and operators can reserve spots ahead of the event.

Two days of programming

The main expo runs November 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 129 South 9th St. in Columbia. Admission is free.

An additional event, called The Car Wash Experience, takes place the day before, on November 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 257 South 9th St. That day includes a bus tour of local car washes and a keynote presentation from Eric Wulf, CEO of the International Carwash Association. Attendees will also get a light lunch, an expert panel discussion and a reserved Q&A session. Cost for the tour day is $40 per person plus an Eventbrite processing fee.

The pairing gives operators a choice: attend the free training expo, the paid tour and panel day, or both. The tour day is aimed at those who want to see working sites in person and hear from an industry association leader, while the expo focuses on vendor exhibits and classroom-style seminars.

Why it matters for operators

Free industry training events remain one of the lower-cost ways for owners, managers and staff to stay current on equipment, chemistry and operations without the travel budget a national trade show requires. With more than 60 vendors on hand, the expo offers a compact venue to compare products, ask technical questions and see equipment demonstrations in a single day.

For operators weighing the paid tour day, the site visits and panel format can be especially useful for those planning a build or renovation, since seeing how peers configure their washes often surfaces practical details that catalogs do not. The keynote from a national association executive also gives smaller operators a read on where the broader industry is heading.

Operators considering attendance should register early given that the free day has no cost barrier and space may be limited. Bringing multiple team members can spread the learning across roles, letting a manager focus on operations sessions while a marketing lead or technician targets the exhibits and equipment most relevant to their work. Events like this are also a practical networking channel for finding suppliers and comparing notes with nearby operators facing the same labor, chemical and maintenance challenges.
