The Midwest Car Wash Association has scheduled its next regional trade show, Wash Hub 2027, for March 23 and 24, 2027, at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan. According to reporting from Car Wash Business Center, the two-day event is aimed at bringing operators together with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers from across the region.
The association serves car wash professionals in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, and it is positioning Wash Hub as a central gathering point for business in those states. Registration details, seminar schedules, and hotel block information have not yet been released.
What the show will offer
The program is built around several core elements. Exhibitors will run product and equipment showcases featuring car wash technology, chemical solutions, and equipment upgrades. Attendees will have face-to-face access to regional manufacturers and suppliers, along with educational seminars focused on operational efficiency and business growth.
The event will also feature show-only pricing and incentives on equipment upgrades and new builds, a common draw for operators timing capital purchases around trade events. An evening MCA/Wash Hub dinner is planned to combine dining, entertainment, and networking in a more relaxed setting.
Ken Allmacher, MCA board president, framed the event as a place where deals get done, saying Wash Hub is where "conversations turn into opportunities." The association advised interested attendees to watch its website for updates as details are finalized.
A crowded spring calendar
Wash Hub 2027 lands on the same two dates, March 23 and 24, 2027, as the Heartland Carwash Association's Product & Equipment Show, which is set for the Tinley Park Convention Center near Chicago. The overlap means Midwest operators who follow multiple regional associations may face a scheduling choice, particularly those in Illinois and neighboring states served by both groups.
For now, MCA has not published pricing, exhibitor lists, or a finalized seminar lineup, so operators weighing attendance will need to wait for further announcements before committing travel and booth budgets.
Why it matters for operators
Regional trade shows remain one of the more practical ways for independent and small-chain operators to compare equipment, meet vendors in person, and lock in show-only pricing without traveling to a national event. Wash Hub's emphasis on trade show incentives is worth noting for anyone planning a new build or an equipment overhaul in 2027, since those deals can offset travel costs.
The calendar conflict with the Heartland show is the practical takeaway here. Operators who typically attend both, or who send staff to cover them, should decide early which event fits their buying plans and territory. Booth space, hotel blocks, and travel arrangements tend to move fastest for the operators who plan first.
Watch for MCA's forthcoming registration and seminar details to judge whether the education sessions and exhibitor mix justify the trip, and factor the spring timing into any equipment purchasing decisions you expect to make next year.
