OPW Vehicle Wash Solutions plans to bring its full lineup of car wash products aimed at convenience store operators to the PEI Convention, held during the NACS Show from October 7 to 9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. According to reporting from Auto Laundry News, the company will focus on how its various brands work together to help C-store washes build repeat business and increase revenue.
The exhibit pulls together products from several OPW brands, including PDQ, Belanger, Turtle Wax Pro, and Innovative Control Systems. Dave Dougherty, vice president and general manager of the division, said the show will highlight solutions meant to turn C-store washes into "profit-driving community destinations."
What OPW plans to display
The booth will feature the LaserWash 360 Plus in-bay automatic from PDQ, along with advanced payment technologies, car wash chemistry and protection products from Turtle Wax Pro, marketing strategy support, and resources designed for C-store growth.
Innovative Control Systems, another OPW brand, will show two newer products. The first is WashCloud, a digital platform that consolidates customer, equipment, and site data into a single dashboard. It tracks metrics such as wash counts, subscriber numbers, license plate recognition data, revenue per wash, and churn rates. The dashboard is accessible remotely, giving operators a central view to guide decisions on marketing, promotions, memberships, and staffing.
The second ICS product is the Auto Sentry MAX point-of-sale unit, built with a 32-inch interactive screen that supports customizable video and new ways to present upgrades, memberships, and offers to customers.
Sales and engineering staff from the OPW brands will staff the booth to answer operator questions about driving repeat visits and improving profitability.
Why it matters for operators
For convenience store operators running a wash as a secondary profit center, the NACS Show is one of the main venues where equipment vendors concentrate their C-store messaging. OPW is framing its pitch around integration, the idea that wash equipment, chemistry, payment hardware, and data tools perform better when sourced from a single supplier that coordinates them.
The emphasis on data platforms like WashCloud reflects a broader industry shift. Operators increasingly expect to see churn rates, revenue per wash, and subscriber trends in one place rather than piecing numbers together manually. For C-store owners who may not have dedicated wash managers, a remote dashboard can make the difference between actively managing the wash and letting it run on autopilot.
The larger interactive screen on the Auto Sentry MAX also points to an ongoing focus on upselling at the point of sale, where memberships and package upgrades carry the highest margins. Operators evaluating equipment should weigh whether a bundled approach from one vendor fits their needs better than assembling best-in-class components separately. Trade shows remain a practical place to compare those tradeoffs directly with sales and engineering teams before committing capital.
