Simoniz will again host its annual industry gathering at Carwash Conn-East, bringing the Northeast car wash community together at the Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City for an evening of networking before the show begins.
According to reporting from Professional Carwashing & Detailing, the celebration is held in partnership with the Northeast Regional Carwash Convention and takes place the night before the trade show opens. The 2025 edition drew more than 550 attendees, and organizers say they are aiming to surpass that figure this year.
Event details
The celebration is scheduled for October 5, 2026, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Hollywood Ballroom at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. Guests can RSVP online at the event page listed by the source.
RSVPs are encouraged but not required for entry. Attendees will not need to present an invitation at the door. Simoniz is asking guests to confirm in advance so organizers can plan food and beverage service for the crowd.
Why it matters for operators
Regional conventions remain one of the most efficient ways for operators to meet suppliers, compare equipment and chemistry, and talk shop with peers who face the same local labor, weather, and competitive conditions. A well-attended kickoff event the night before the show floor opens gives operators a lower-pressure setting to build relationships that can pay off later, whether that means negotiating supply terms, finding service partners, or gathering intelligence on what competitors in the region are doing.
For Northeast operators specifically, Carwash Conn-East is the anchor event of the regional calendar, and attendance of more than 550 at last year's celebration signals that the region's owner and manager community is active and engaged. Operators planning to attend the show should note the RSVP request: confirming ahead of time helps organizers size catering and reflects the kind of headcount planning any operator running a busy event would appreciate.
The timing also matters. Scheduling the celebration the evening before the show lets attendees network without cutting into their time walking the floor and meeting vendors during business hours. Operators who travel to Atlantic City for the convention can maximize the trip by treating the kickoff night as part of their agenda rather than an optional add-on, using it to line up meetings and set priorities for the show itself.
