WOW Carwash has selected Harris Elementary School as the partner for its Adopt A School program during the 2026-27 academic year, committing funding and in-kind support aimed at students, teachers and families in the Las Vegas area.

The partnership kicked off with a $3,850 donation to help Harris Elementary students take part in youth sports, according to reporting from Professional Carwashing & Detailing. The company says that money is meant to lower the cost barriers that keep some students from joining extracurricular activities, covering participation in flag football, basketball and soccer through the Las Vegas City League and the Greater Youth Sports Association League.

What the partnership includes

Beyond athletics, WOW Carwash plans to recognize the school's staff of more than 100 employees. Staff appreciation activities valued at close to $2,500 are scheduled around the school's Staff Development Day on Nov. 3 and the week of Dec. 14-18 heading into winter break.

The company is also committing to a presence at school events across the year. WOW handed out free stress balls, sunglasses and other giveaways at the Fall Festival earlier in the month and plans to return for the Spring Festival on March 25. As part of the year-long arrangement, it will donate two one-year WOW MAX memberships, worth roughly $960, for the school to use in community initiatives.

Nicole Feliciano, corporate partnerships manager at WOW Carwash, framed the effort as more than a sponsorship, saying the company wants to "show up, be involved and make a positive impact." Harris Elementary principal Anthony White said the donation to the sports program has allowed a new group of student-athletes to take the field, and credited WOW's festival support with helping those events succeed.

Why it matters for operators

Community sponsorships like this one offer a template operators can study regardless of location. The structure here is notable: rather than a single lump donation, WOW spread its commitment across the school calendar through sports funding, staff recognition and event appearances. That cadence keeps the brand visible to local families repeatedly over a full year, not just once.

The mix of cash and in-kind value is also worth noting. The two donated memberships cost the company little in hard dollars but carry a stated retail value and put WOW's product directly in the hands of community members who may become paying customers. Giveaways at festivals serve a similar purpose, pairing goodwill with low-cost brand exposure to a concentrated local audience.

For operators weighing community investment, the lesson is that a school partnership can double as a marketing channel when it is built around consistent touchpoints and tied to a nearby customer base. Tracking which initiatives drive membership sign-ups or local awareness can help justify the spend and shape future partnerships. Naming a dedicated point person, as WOW has done with a corporate partnerships manager, signals the program is treated as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off check.
