Highline Warren, a North American distributor of vehicle maintenance products, is expanding the automotive portfolio under its Sprayway brand, adding several cleaning and maintenance products and rolling out updated packaging across the category. According to reporting from Professional Carwashing & Detailing, the new items were set to debut at the 2026 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo and the Specialty Equipment Market Association show, both held in Las Vegas in early November.

The company positioned the move as a way to give retail partners more products to stock within the automotive aisle while building on the Sprayway name, which the source notes carries nearly 80 years of history in professional cleaning.

What is being added

The expanded lineup includes Automotive Glass Wipes and Automotive Glass Cleaner in three scents, Black Frost, Crystal Pine and New Car. It also adds an Automotive Upholstery Cleaner, an Automotive All Purpose Cleaner and an Automotive Cleaner Degreaser. These sit alongside Sprayway's existing automotive products and push the brand into additional appearance and cleaning categories.

Highline Warren said the new products are expected to reach store shelves in late 2026, with broader distribution planned for January 2027. The company is also refreshing packaging across the entire Sprayway automotive line to create a more consistent look and make the assortment easier for shoppers to navigate.

Amanda Perry, vice president of chemicals at Highline Warren, said the new products, packaging and marketing support are meant to work together to build a stronger shelf presence. Expanding the portfolio lets the company build on what customers already recognize, she said.

The Sprayway line is part of Highline Warren's broader group of brands and exclusives, which the source lists as including Prime Guard, Rain-X windshield washer fluid, Mobil 1 filtration products and BlueDevil Auto Care Solutions.

Why it matters for operators

For wash operators, the most relevant angle is the retail opportunity. Many washes, especially those with detailing operations or lobby and vending space, carry consumer appearance products as an added revenue stream. A broader Sprayway assortment with cohesive packaging gives operators who sell retail chemistry more options to round out a shelf and a recognizable brand that customers may already know.

The products are aimed at the consumer automotive market rather than tunnel chemistry, so this is not a change to wash process chemicals. Operators running detail departments may still find the glass, upholstery and degreaser products useful for in-bay or hand-detailing work, though the announcement does not detail professional pack sizes or dispensing formats.

Timing is worth noting. With broader availability set for January 2027, operators planning retail resets or detail supply orders for the new year have a window to evaluate the line and compare it against current sources. Those attending AAPEX or SEMA could inspect the refreshed packaging and pricing firsthand before committing shelf space.

As with any retail add-on, the decision comes down to margin, turnover and whether the brand fits the customer base. A product expansion alone does not guarantee sales, so operators should weigh how much counter or vending space these items can realistically earn.
