Speeders Car Wash has opened a new location at 153rd and Q Street in Omaha, marking its second site in the city this year. The opening follows a July announcement of a location at 160th and Center, according to reporting from Auto Laundry News.

The new wash sits alongside a Casey's convenience store, pairing the wash offering with fuel, prepared foods, and other retail. Speeders said the site carries the same package lineup found across its network, including free vacuums and unlimited membership options.

A Midwest expansion built on partnerships

Speeders is one of several brands operated by Summit Wash Holdings, which also runs Russell Speeder's and Waters Car Wash. CEO Dan Pittman pointed to the tie-up with Casey's as central to the company's growth strategy, saying the firm is "extremely excited about the collaboration with Casey's." Kevin Matthews, chief operating officer and president of Summit Wash Holdings, said the company is eager to keep serving the Omaha community at another Speeders location.

The co-location model places the wash next to an established convenience and fuel retailer, giving Speeders access to existing customer traffic while offering Casey's patrons a nearby wash. For customers, the arrangement bundles fueling, food, and washing at a single stop.

Why it matters for operators

Speeders adding two Omaha sites in a single year signals continued aggressive site growth in the Midwest under a multi-brand holding company structure. That pace matters for operators watching a specific market, because a well-capitalized chain building out multiple nearby locations can quickly reshape local membership competition and pricing pressure.

The Casey's partnership is the detail worth studying. Co-locating a wash with an established convenience and fuel retailer is a way to secure high-traffic real estate and inherit an existing customer base rather than building demand from scratch. Independent operators competing against this model should consider how their own site selection and cross-promotion stack up. Partnerships with fuel or retail neighbors, even informal ones, can drive incremental volume and reinforce the convenience angle that unlimited membership programs depend on.

The emphasis on free vacuums and unlimited plans across every Speeders site is also a reminder that consistency of offering is a competitive tool. When a chain promises the same experience at each location, it lowers the friction for members to visit whichever site is closest, strengthening the value of a monthly plan. Operators running single sites or small groups may find it harder to match that network convenience, which puts a premium on local loyalty, service quality, and community ties.
